Ishaan in a suit on the TCU campus

Ishaan Bhagwat

Exploring distributed systems, AI agent compute and state.

About Me:

Timeline
  • Currently: Building Turbo Assist for Writing.
  • Summer'25: Graduated from TCU, with a B.S. in computer science.
  • Fall'24 - Spring'25: Designed and built an ELT pipeline + API + UI for a property investment firm.
  • Summer'24: Wrote a fast and consistent distributed batch processing job queue for an ML startup.
  • Summer'23: Built React.js dashboards and GraphQL API endpoints for a tech consulting firm.

In 2021, I moved to Texas to study computer science on an academic scholarship. Over the next 4 years, I learned to embrace change, thrive in uncertainty and think independently.

I started playing tennis in '24, and picked up distance running in '23.

I grew up in Mumbai circa 2010s.

Current Interests:

  • Stateless agent compute orchestration with tiered caching for fast context/memory rebuilding
  • vLLM, PagedAttention for Fast Inference and RoPE for increasing context window
  • Rust borrow-checking, scoped references and idiomatic memory safe code.
